About
LexRegister
LexRegister publishes long-form, sourced pieces on legal technology for practicing lawyers, legal, governance and policy professionals, and legal technology vendors. It is the slow companion to LexCircuit, where every story appears as a short card. A piece appears here when a story has been written up in full.
Method
Every piece starts as a story cluster: one real-world development and every source that reported it. The standfirst is the same forty-to-eighty-word summary that appears on the card. The body is written against the sources listed at the end, each of which is linked. Where the sources disagree, the piece says so and says who reported what.
Pieces are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human before publication. Nothing publishes unreviewed. There is no analysis, opinion or rating anywhere on the site, and the content format has no place to put one.
Corrections
A corrected piece keeps its URL, carries a dated notice saying what changed, and is listed in the corrections log. A retracted piece is withdrawn and kept at its URL with the reason.
